The Annual Sports Meet—Khel Chakra 2023—was an exhilarating showcase of talent, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Hosted at Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, this year’s event brought together our participants from various age groups, making it a true celebration of physical prowess and community spirit.
The Principal, Ms. Poonam Kumar Mendiratta, addressed and thanked the parent community for their unwavering support. The event was graced by Prof. Harsh Vardhan Tripathi (Senior Journalist) as the Chief Guest and our Guest of Honour, Dr. Piyush Jain (Founder of the Education Foundation of India), Ms. Neha Kakar (Co-Founder and President of the Northern United Football Club), and Mr. Tarun Sharma (Joint Secretary PEFI). Their insightful words and presence added a special touch to our celebration.
The day began with a spectacular opening ceremony, featuring a grand parade of participants, followed by captivating performances including martial arts techniques such as Kalaripayattu, Archery and Gatka, Taekwondo stunts, Yoga asanas, Aerobics, Gymnastics, and Drill. We celebrated our champions at the Medal Distribution Ceremony who proved their mettle in various events like races (100 & 200 m, Pick and Drop, Hopping and Jumping, Tiger Walk Race, Zig-Zag Crawling), Skipping, Hurdles, Yoga, Gymnastics, Badminton, Basketball and Football. The Flamingo House was declared the ‘Cock House’ and won the trophy for its overall performance as the best house.
