The Interact Club of our School organised a visit to an Animal shelter in collaboration with Posh Foundation.
The visit was extremely heartwarming for all the students. They were warmly welcomed by the shelter staff and introduced to various dogs that they had adopted at the shelter.
Our students actively participated in various activities at the shelter which included feeding, grooming and playing with the animals under the guidance of shelter volunteers. They learned about the importance of animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the work done by the shelter to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals.
Overall, it was an enriching and educational experience for the students, fostering empathy and compassion towards animals.
