The Manthan School added a new chapter in its endeavour to establish a tradition ofcultural exchange .09 students and a teacher with the Principal from the School visited Areum Middle School, Sejong, South Korea as a part of this 05 days student exchange program which was organised by The Areum Middle School, Sejong, South Korea. It was an excellent opportunity for students, teachers and all quality enthusiasts to build knowledge of each other’s country, people and culture. It enabled students to acquire global awareness and skills to prepare them for being a perfect citizen of the world. These students and teachers resided with the students and teachers of the host school as part of this program for a rounded exposure to the Korean Culture.
The plan consisted of attending lectures at the school, getting involved in their class for getting the feel of their teaching- learning process, visit to the Presidents Archives in Sejong city. The Welcome given to the Indian team had everyone touched to the core of their hearts.
The team moved to Seoul for a two-days stay and visited World Cup Stadium, N Seoul tower and Hans Cruise River. The students also visited the Indian Embassy Cultural Centre in Seoul, South Korea. The videos shown to them helped them to understand about the cultural similarities between the two nations and gave them a unique platform to exchange their views, thoughts and ideas. The visit to the Embassy was an enriching experience as the students interacted with the Korean Nationals. This was icing on the cake and added to the grandeur of the trip.
The students came back enriched with varied learning and ways to evolve as a total quality person!
