The students of our School Interact Club of Grade 4-5 students visited the Sarvodaya Hospital as a part of their community service initiative. This visit was aimed at spreading joy and positivity among the patients and appreciating the hard work of the medical staff.
The students carried beautiful handmade “get well soon” cards for the patients and “Thank you” cards for the Doctors and staff with well crafted messages on it. They personally handed these cards to the patients, bringing smiles and hope to many faces. The patients appreciated the thoughtful gesture and were touched by this most considerate act of our little ones. The doctors were also deeply moved by the students’ recognition of their efforts.
The students learned valuable lessons of empathy, compassion and community service through this visit.
