The students of Grade 10 visited Ek Murti for a “Road Safety Session”, organized by the local traffic police. The session began with an interactive demonstration of hand signals used by the traffic police to control road flow. The students also learned about emergency hand signs used by drivers and their importance in communication on the road. The officers explained various road signs, including regulatory, warning, and informational signs, their meanings, and how they ensure safe travel. The highlight was a hands-on activity where each student pair, guided by an officer, helped manage real traffic at a busy intersection. This activity offered valuable insight into the responsibilities and challenges faced by traffic personnel. The session was informative, engaging, and gave new-found appreciation for road safety and the vital role of traffic police.
