With a passion for cooking, 6 students attended a five-day Internship at Manav Rachna University, Faridabad on Cook with me by Chef William Lee (Head Chef, HOD Culinary Arts Department)
The internship started with an ice-breaking activity (introduce your buddy, introduce to Culinary Arts, and exposure to the latest equipment used in Culinary Industry like an apron and head caps were distributed to the students. Later, students were taken to the bakery Department, where they baked puffs and tried their hands on cake making and made black forest cake with the help of Chef Sunil.
Students tried out their little hands on Oriental Cuisine where students cooked delectable oriental dishes like Dhimsum, Asian Momos and Japanese Gyoza, our own Indian Cuisines like Dal Makhni, Shahi Paneer, creamy Mushroom Soup and Shrikhand and Italian cuisines like Pasta, Minestrone Soup, Focaccia, and Grilled Chicken with pesto sauce, Herbs Potatoes and Tiramisu.
This internship has provided students with a working kitchen with all the latest equipment used in the industry to prepare scrumptious dishes and present them aesthetically.
