Playing in the sand can be a great opportunity for children to have unstructured play time. It promotes fine motor skills, eye & hand coordination, sense of touch, social interaction and develops concentration span. For the same reason, Manthanites play in sand pit on everyday basis where they create an imaginary world of stories by exploring the sand which promotes creativity and imagination.
