On this occasion, all the teachers and students were given the responsibility to identify places around the premises and meet the people to guide them to keep their city clean. The students participated in the cleanliness exercise with enthusiasm and urged the local food vendors and shopkeepers to join this campaign.

The students went to the local market areas of sector 50 and 41 and interacted with the roadside vendors. They spoke about the importance of cleanliness for personal health and to maintain the cleanliness of their own city. Students distributed dustbins to the food vendors to use as garbage bins and keep the area clean. The shopkeepers responded positively to the initiative taken by the young students and followed this initiative diligently.

Divya Jain, director, The Manthan School said, “In order to have a proper habitat, it is significant that its users and residents maintain it with utmost hygiene and care.
